Sweden has conducted a new study, which has shown that eating more servings of fruits and vegetables can lower your chances of developing chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Of the 40,000 male smokers studied, it was found that the ones who ate 5 or more servings of fruits and vegetables every day were around 40% less likely to develop COPD than those who only ate 2 or less servings a day.
