Don’t let this fact keep you from working out at all! There are many ways you can work out at home without any fancy equipment.

Below are 5 of the simplest and most effective at-home exercises you can do:

  1. Crunches – If you’re looking to strengthen your core, crunches are your best bet. Even if you have difficulty at first, just go as high as you can and try to go a little further each time. As long as you’re feeling the burn, it’s helping!
  2. Jogging In Place – Not only is jogging great cardio; it’s also good for your heart health as well. You can jog while listening to music or even while watching television.
  3. Pushups – Pushups aren’t the most fun exercise out there. However, they’re the best solution for working out your arms. If you aren’t able to do pushups the traditional way, feel free to modify them. You can do pushups on your knees or even against the wall.
  4. Jumping Jacks – Jumping jacks will take you right back to your childhood! In addition to being a lot of fun, jumping jacks are also a great cardio workout. Use jumping jacks as a part of your routine, or even as a warm up – either way, they’ll get your blood pumping.
  5. Dancing – Another fun and effective cardio workout is dancing. Turn up your favorite song and dance along! Not only will you be working out and having fun, but dancing has also been shown to boost your mood.
